During the residency portion of DSI, Dr. Shibley imparts his theology, his passion for Christ and the gospel, and his vision for world evangelism. It is a download of information and interaction from Dr. Shibley, the Global Advance team, and other influential leaders representing various spheres of cultural engagement. Each leader leaves with a treasure trove of resources that become a permanent part of his personal ministry library.

 WHO WE ARE. 

OUR MISSION 

God has strategically placed catalytic, top-tier kingdom leaders who are called to push back the spiritual and economic poverty in their nations. We call these leaders changemakers. Global Advance unites these national leaders to build collaborative strategies, equipping them with the tools, training, resources, and encouragement needed to advance the gospel and transform their nations. 

PRIORITIZING RELATIONSHIPS 

We believe that our greatest effectiveness begins in the context of deep relationship. God has given Global Advance an open door to UNITE and IGNITE these changemakers to create a force multiplier for the gospel’s advance. 

UNITE: We build Coalitions national teams comprised of high-capacity regional leaders, whose kingdom impact is faster-moving and farther-reaching because they’re working together.   

IGNITE: Within this collaborative environment, we personally “coach” mentor leaders and help resource strategic national objectives that unleash waves of help, healing, and hope.   

  

ENSURING ACCESS(IBILITY)  

(Access)ibility is key (to) when working in the world’s hardest-to-reach places. When relationships are prioritized, access(ibility) increases. This means that despite infrastructure challenges, increasing persecution, and government restrictions, the (our) work continues through changemakers who have influence and access to places we could never go.

TEAM OF TEAMS

Through our Team-of-Teams Model, regional kingdom leaders are equipped to train others in-country through well-established and trusted networks. Global Advance trains trainers to multiply their leadership through the following pathways:  

  • Pastoral, discipleship, and church planting training ensures healthy leadership and church multiplication where the gospel is yet to be known. A church for every people, so the gospel can reach every person, will mean the completion of the Great Commission!

  • Christian entrepreneurs and business professionals are taught kingdom principles and practical business skills to impact their world more effectively for Christ. Key marketplace leaders are convened in local Kingdom Business Networks where they become a collective missions force with exponential impact.

  • Women leaders are mentored to fully realize their identity, influence, and impact for Christ, then are mobilized to disciple others in local mentoring relationships. As women are equipped in the areas of leadership for which they are gifted and created, relationships are formed, and communities are transformed.

  • Seasoned pastors are equipped with leadership principles to bridge the gap and build mentoring relationships with the next generation of Great Commission leaders. This results in the strengthening of rising leaders to serve in their churches, communities, and in the nations, catalyzing their impact for God’s Kingdom.

  • At Global Advance We believe prayer fuels God’s global mission plan. When you align your prayers and dreams with God’s will, you discover the passion of God’s heart. Prayer is the undergirding of our faith and our connection to God our Creator; therefore, we must begin to see saturating everything we do with prayer as the first work of ministry.

TO SUSTAINABILITY 

We believe that God has placed the people and resources in each nation to accomplish His purposes. That’s why we’ll always work with our national teams towards sustainable solutions. As healthy leaders are multiplied, they are equipped with the spiritual and economic foundations to drive their own kingdom initiatives. 

 THE END GAME 

Our task is the Great Commission. One day, there will be followers of Jesus from every people group and nation. By God’s grace, our partnership with changemakers in the nations gets us closer to that day.  

Together, we can get the gospel to more people in more places... until the whole world hears.
